I was so honoured to be commissioned by Canada Council for the Arts to make one of the video portraits for this year’s Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts. My Laureate was the incredible Marnie Fleming, who is a brilliant light in the Canadian art scene and was curator at Oakville Galleries for many years. Her contributions to the arts in Canada are absolutely outstanding, and she has helped foster the careers of many artists due to her passion and dedication. The time working with her on this was an absolute joy.

Many thanks to Erica Genereux Smith who was the cinematographer for the project, and Mark Savoia for composing the score.
